  • Theme or display preferences where you select light, dark, or system appearance on supported pages.

Information from third party sign in

If you sign in with Google, we receive information made available by Google according to your Google account settings, such as your name, email address, and profile picture URL. We use this only to authenticate you and populate your Academy profile where applicable.

We use personal information for legitimate Academy purposes, including:

  • Reviewing and processing applications, including admissions decisions and cohort placement.
  • Creating and managing user accounts, roles (fellow, instructor, admin), and program enrollments.
  • Delivering programs: live sessions, recordings, assignments, gradebooks, announcements, resources, and certificates.

  • Producing aggregated, non identifying analytics to improve programs, website content, and operations.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as described below and require processors to protect it and use it only for the services they provide to us.

Service providers (processors)

  • Supabase: authentication, database hosting, and file storage for profiles, learning data, and certificates.
  • Paystack: payment processing for application and program fees.
  • Resend (or similar email providers): delivery of contact form messages, application notifications, and program related email.

  • Website hosting and infrastructure providers that operate the servers and networks used to deliver thebridgeexecutiveacademy.com.

Professional partners

Where you enrol in programs delivered with accredited or partner institutions, we may share limited information needed for certification, reporting, or quality assurance, under appropriate confidentiality arrangements.

Legal and safety

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or regulatory authority, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of the Academy, our users, or others.

International data transfers

Some of our service providers may process data in countries other than Nigeria, including the United States or the European Economic Area. Where transfers occur, we take steps designed to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms offered by our providers, consistent with applicable law.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the website, keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the site is used. Essential cookies are required for security, authentication, and core features such as forms and payments.

For a detailed description of cookie types and how to manage them in your browser, see the Cookie Policy in our Terms of Service. Blocking certain cookies may limit login, payments, or saved preferences.

Security

We implement administrative, technical, and organisational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or alteration. These include access controls, encrypted connections (HTTPS), role based permissions in our platform, and use of reputable cloud providers.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.

  • Application records: typically retained for admissions evaluation and audit purposes for a defined period after the intake cycle, then archived or deleted according to our records policy.
  • Fellow and program records: retained for the duration of enrollment and a reasonable period afterward for certificates, disputes, and regulatory compliance.
  • Payment records: retained as required for accounting, tax, and anti fraud obligations.
  • Marketing and enquiry records: retained until you opt out or request deletion, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Security logs: retained for a limited period appropriate for incident investigation.

Your rights and choices

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction on processing of your personal information, as well as data portability or to object to certain processing.

To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) or another competent supervisory authority where applicable.

  • Opt out of non essential marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in those messages or by emailing us.
  • Update profile information directly in your dashboard settings where the feature is available.
  • Manage cookies through your browser settings as described in our Terms of Service.

Learning platform and fellow data

When you use fellow, instructor, or admin dashboards, we process data necessary to run the academy: enrollments, submissions, grades, announcements, session schedules, and certificates. Instructors and authorised staff may view fellow data only as needed to deliver and assess programs.

Submissions you upload may contain personal or confidential information. Submit only what is required for the assignment and avoid including sensitive third party data without proper authority.

Certificates and public verification

When a certificate is issued, we store the fellow name, program details, certificate number, issue date, and status. A public verification page may allow anyone with the certificate number to confirm that a certificate is valid without exposing unnecessary personal data.

If a certificate is revoked or reissued, updated status is reflected in our records and verification tools.

Children's privacy

Our programs and website are directed at adults and professional learners. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 without appropriate parental or guardian consent. If you believe we have collected information from a child in error, please contact us so we can delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change when we publish a new version. Material changes may also be communicated by email or a notice on the website where appropriate.

Continued use of the website or services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy, to the extent permitted by law.
